Pop Smoke was born and was raised in Brooklyn, New York City. His first single, "MPR Part 3 Remix", debuted in 2018. Pop Smoke became famous through the release of his top singles "Welcome to the Party", and "Dior" which he released in 2019. Pop Smoke was a frequent collaborator with UK drill artists and producers. Pop Smoke released his breakthrough singles "Welcome to the Party" and "Dior" in the year 2019. Victor was later to agree to sign Pop Smoke a recording deal with Victor Victor Worldwide Records. In July 2019 Pop Smoke released his debut mixtape, Meet the Woo 2. Pop Smoke's sophomore studio album Faith was released by Republic Records one year later. Time called her one of the 2021 Entertainers Of The year, and Billboard named it Woman Of The Year in 2022.
