Rosie Huntington

RosieQueen Latifah was born Dana Elaine Owens on March 18th, 1970 in Newark, New Jersey. Latifah, the second child of Lance Owens and Rita Owens is well-known for her acting and social-politics abilities, as well as her gift for rhyme. At the age of 8 older, a Muslim relative gave her the name Latifah, meaning "delicate and sensitive" in Arabic. Latifah started singing in the choir of the church of Shiloh in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her first performance was when she sang "Home" in the role of Dorothy in a production of The Wizard of Oz at St. Anne's Parochial School. Latifah's mother was a catalyst as she was always in contact with the children and music. Mark James, the local disc jockey, was requested by Latifah to sing during the dance. Mark the 45 King, to perform at a school dance.
