Mischa was the daughter of the wealthy and famous Mischa Barton on 24 January, 1986. In Hammersmith England, United Kingdom. The television show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared in The Sixth Sense a suspense film. The O.C. The O.C. was one of the most popular TV shows. In addition, she was a part of the highly rated TV program The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie, her lover. Benjamin McKenzie was her lover. Barton made her first television appearance in 1994 when she played an untold Corvina in flashbacks of the soap show All My Children. In 1996 Barton returned to All My Children and replaced Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes of the television show Once and Again, as Jessie Samueller's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover. In 2001, Barton went back to acting and played in an independent Canadian film called Lost and Delirious. It was based off the Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. The film was met with mixed reviews. But the performance of Barton as well as the co-stars Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare received a lot of praise. Comaneci won the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1996 and was named as one of the top 100 women of the 20th century according to ABC News. Comaneci as well as Olympic champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of the gymnastics businesses they jointly own. Comaneci also participates with a range of charitable organizations being a part of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. In addition, she remains active in supporting dozens of charitable organizations in Romania. It is the case for Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital of Bucharest.
