Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. Her birth name is Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her catchy electronic pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her capacity to create catchy and emotional songs put her at the forefront for modern mainstream music, in addition to the art and indie pop scene. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big contract. The album she released was ready for release.
