Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Her most famous role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning program At This Hour. In the past, she was the co-anchor on CNN's morning show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan has also been a correspondent for Congress based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan is an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative activities, including talks to increase the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent covering topics like that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare and the 2009 implementation of the stimulus program. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
